1. The game of blackjack is based around trying to get as close to the number 21 without going over. If either you or the dealer goes over 21 it is known as a bust.

2. To start the game the dealer will give every player at the table two cards. He will also deal himself two cards; one facing up so everybody can see it, and one facing down. From there you will have to make a decision on if you want to stay put, or “hit” which means you will get more cards.

3. Early on you should be most concerned with the basic details of the game. Forget about card counting, or anything else that may be too much work for you. A basic strategy is all that you need in order to get started.

Overall, you can play blackjack at an online casino or a land based casino. Either way, the rules are the same. If you follow the three tips above you should be able to start playing and winning at blackjack sooner than you ever thought possible.
